Hope to see you at one of our upcoming gigs so you can enjoy our multi-instrumental arrangements of music mainly from the folk tradition. With six voices and about 20 instruments, we’ll bring you songs and tunes from England, Scotland, Ireland, France and beyond – jigs, slip jigs, and reels; schottisches and polkas; a hint of Klezmer, ska, and some swing; and songs about love, crime, hardship and, on occasion, beer!
MONTHLY BRAMPTON SESSIONS
Our monthly acoustic music sessions with guest artists, floor spots and tunes for everyone to join in. (Tunes and songs for the all-in session playing can be found here: www.bramptonsessions.co.uk.
The sessions take place on the first Wednesday of each month (not Jan, Aug,, Dec) from 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. , St Thomas’ Centre, Chatsworth Road, S40 3AW (in the bar, with Brampton Brewery beers). Suggested donation £6.
